Lite Panels Astra Bi Color LED (3)
3 in inventory. Litepanels continues to expand and enhance their formidable LED line with the introduction of the Astra 6X Bi-Color LED Panel that is 6x the brightness of the original Bi-Color 1x1. As in previous versions of the 1x1 form factor, the Astra has variable tungsten to daylight color temperature with negligible color shift, 0-100% dimming and a universal (100-240 VAC) adapter. You can also run on 13-24 VDC batteries with separate purchase of a V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plate. The technological advancement and enhancement is evident in the high CRI and significantly increased brightness due to the use of tightly-binned LEDs and fine-tuned TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics, resulting in a longer throw over a wider field. Another addition is the Astra Bi-Color's Dual Cooling. Choose the fan/convection mode or run silent with the field-replaceable fan off. You can control the Astra's functions locally or remotely with separate purchase of a DMX module. The Astra 6X Bi-Color comes with both US and EU power cables and a removable 5/8" TVMP connecter for hanging or stand mounting. Two 1/4"-20 female taps offer alternate mounting points.

Lite Gear - Lite Mat
3 Bi Color LED (3) 2 in inventory. Building on the success of the original LiteMat, with its thin and ultra lightweight housing, soft color-correct Hybrid (bi-color) output, and convenient mounting options, the S2 LiteMat takes lighting to the next level. The new S2 LiteMat is nearly 40% brighter than the original LiteMat, has better color quality, and a widely extended Kelvin range all without an increase in power draw. In addition, overall CRI increased to 95+ with a matching TLCI of more than 95 as well. With all of these tremendous advancements, S2 LiteMat remains compatible with all existing LiteDimmers, LitePower supplies, and cables. The S2 LiteMat 3 is based on three “tiled” light engine measuring 9.5 in. x 19 in. (240 mm x 480 mm). The head unit features 864 genuine CineMitter LEDs and is covered by a thin, clear polycarbonate layer and bordered entirely with Velcro® “loop” fastener. Mounting is provided with a Kino Flo® compatible, removable gimbal mount. The “soft-through-pixelization” method allows the LiteMat 2 to achieve surprisingly bright light levels while remaining under 1 in. (25 mm) thick and weighing just 4.7 lb (2.1 kg).

Jab Hurricane LED Weatherproof LED 800W
The AAdynTech JAB Hurricane is the most powerful compact all-weather IP65 rated LED fixture available on the market today. It delivers an impressive 2,443 fc @ 10 feet while consuming only 1.77 amps at full power and can also be operated via 28.8 volt DC battery power making it ideal for any remote production where power is limited. The IP65 rating totally protects the Hurricane from dust and water from any direction. The JAB Hurricane boasts fan-less convection cooling. Specially designed holographic lenses provide high optical efficiency by creating a single light-source, eliminating multiple shadows. These four quick change lenses vary the beam angle between between very narrow, narrow, medium and flood while maintaining a flat, even illumination field. Passive convection cooling provides silent operation and instant ON at all times ensures no warm-up wait time on set.
The IP65 Hurricane has a Daylight CCT of 5600K, and compliments the AAdynTech JAB Series which is available in two other standard models; Daylight and Variable. Special order models are available in Tungsten and Daylight High Speed (100,000 fps), all to fit your creative needs without sacrificing output or color-temperature. The Hurricane can be controlled manually via local on-board controls, DMX or AAdynTech’s optional wired UIM Digital Remote. The UIM for the Hurricane is also rated at IP65 for outdoor use. The JAB Hurricane is offered standalone or as several complete Kits all of which include a weather-proof molded ATA Mil-Spec road case with wheels/handle and various accessory components. This Kobold DW200 AC/DC PAR HMI Kit is based on the extremely compact Kobold DW200 focusable 200-Watt Daylight Focus Flood Light. The optimized design of the reflector achieves a high light output and a homogeneous illumination. The ergonomically positioned focusing knob enables focusing of 14-51°. This daylight fixture has a solid design, compact dimensions and maximum reliability for all applications in the studio and on location.
When the Kobold EWB-200 AC Ballast is connected to a 90-265 VAC source, this weather-resistant ballast will provide dimmable power to your fixture via its included head-to-ballast cable. The Kobold BB200/C DC Ballast is for the DW200 HMI fixture. When connected to your 26-34 Volt Battery source, it will provide dimmable power to your fixture, in areas where AC current is not available. Completing this kit are four lenses which alter the intensity and spread of the light, two wire scrims, a 4-leaf barndoor set, stand mount, 200-watt HMI hot restrike bulb, and an flight kit case. DW200 Fixture Focus Use the rotary knob on the rear of the fixture to adjust focus; note the corresponding "flood" and "spot" symbols on the fixture label indicating the adjustment directions. Bron 400 Watt Fresnel
Recent investigations of Fresnel lens concentrator optics have shown that optical efficiency and module performance depend on lens temperature. In former works we have succeeded in modeling these effects, achieving very good agreement with measurements of silicone on glass (SOG) Fresnel lenses. In the work presented here, we combine this lens model with irradiation spectra and ambient temperature data at typical sites for concentrator photovoltaic power plants for a whole year of operation. The solar cell is simulated with a model based upon the detailed balance limit introduced by Shockley and Queisser. This concentrator photovoltaic system consisting of a triple junction solar cell and a Fresnel lens concentrator is simulated including changes in temperature and spectrum over daytime and during all seasons. Comparing two simulations, one with the Fresnel lens kept at constant temperature and one with a realistic temperature variation of the lens, allows us to analyze the impact of Fresnel lens temperature on system efficiency under realistic environmental conditions. In our analysis poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) Fresnel lenses and SOG Fresnel lenses show comparable energy harvesting efficiency at close to market locations.

Now let’s talk Nashville Video Lighting basics to get you up to par.
The backlight will give you a pleasing depth to your shot and will separate the subject from its background. Backlighting is placed behind the subject and should provide light on the shoulders and head of the subject in focus.
The Key Light is exactly what it sounds like, it’s the main light. It will provide the dominant lighting for the subject. These are our main lights used to film the subject of the video. The Fill Light is what can be called a supporting light for the key light. Usually it mirrors the key light at a lower intensity and should fill-in the shadows created by the key light, great for those morning baggy eyes. When it comes to using the key and fill lights in combination, your set up really depends on what you want to accomplish. If you want a more dramatic appearance, then we set up the key light at a greater intensity to the fill light. This is a beautiful set up when you want contrast and drama. Now here’s what we enjoy - if you really want a more flattering shot, and you do when we’re shooting corporate videos on those early mornings, we like to use key and fill lights at roughly the same intensity and create a nice even look across the subject’s face – avoiding the shadows for a pleasing look. |
